Protesters in Germany and Sweden are demanding their leaders take climate action by marching in a Global Climate Strike. The protest is part of Fridays for Future, a youth-led and organized movement that started when activist Greta Thunberg began a school strike for climate. Some of the world’s largest economies are set to meet at the COP26 climate conference next week. They are expected to set new goals for combating climate change.
