Afghanistan's health care system has collapsed. Without foreign assistance and facing disruptions because of conflict, UN agencies and NGOs in the country say the situation is dire. 

Clinics have no medicine or equipment and thousands of staff haven't been paid for six months. 

The NGO Save The Children is warning thousands of children could die this coming winter because of the collapse of Afghanistan's healthcare.
