In the days heading into the UN Climate Change Summit (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland, environmentalists around the world staged protests, demanding world leaders take real action in fighting the climate crisis and sticking to the Paris Accords 1.5-degree Celsius warming target. 

More protests are expected to take place during the meeting, with members from environmentalist group Extinction Rebellion saying they are planning a high-impact “deliberate disruption” during the summit. Take a look at some of the protests.
