Women, girls turn to at-home learning under Taliban rule

Many women and girls across Afghanistan are eager to get back to school, but more than two months after the Taliban retook Afghanistan, only primary school girls are allowed to go. 

The Taliban says they will let women and older girls back into the classroom once they’ve created a ‘safer’ environment, but they haven’t said when that would happen. With their education in limbo, many have turned to online courses, self-teaching, and other methods of learning.
