The U.S. capital city hosted its first night market into the early hours on Saturday.

The Red Eye night market included more than 50 local restaurants and chefs and cultural performances. 

et in the shadow of the U.S. capitol building, event creators Peter Chang and Brandon Hill of No Kings Collective wanted to help support small businesses that have been hurt by the COVID-19 pandemic and highlight the city's vibrant food scene.
