Thousands of migrants are stuck at the Belarus/Poland border as the area faces a humanitarian crisis with migrants and refugees attempting to reach Europe. With few supplies, troops blocking their path forward, and the arrival of winter, migrants are using whatever they can to make shelter and stay warm. While humanitarian aid has been sent to a refugee camp along the border, more migrants are continuing to arrive.

CNN reports, migrants say they are being encouraged by Belarus to trek toward the European Union. Belarus denies these accusations. In response to the region becoming a hotspot for migration, Turkey has suspended ticket sales to people from Iraq, Syria and Yemen who are trying to reach Belarus.
