Argentines are voting in midterm elections that will establish the power balance in Congress, with one third of the country's Senate seats and half of its Representative seats up for election.

The Peronist party's 40-year majority is on the line as the government's popularity has suffered due to COVID-19 lockdowns, inflation and a record low value of currency.
