U.S. President Joe Biden has signed a historic $1 trillion spending bill into law. The legislation aims to tackle much-needed investment in infrastructure, drinking water, and telecommunications.

It fulfills a key promise made by Biden during his presidential campaign, but it took the support of some Republican members to get it across the finish line in Congress.
