A rally was held Saturday to mark the Brazil’s Day of Black Awareness with celebrations and parades down São Paulo’s Paulista Avenue. 

Similar demonstrations are happening in more than 100 cities across the country.

From a political point of view, this is very much also a protest against president Jair Bolsonaro. CGTN’s Paulo Cabral reports.
