In 1971, a team of athletes from America made history by visiting China in what’s now known as Ping Pong Diplomacy. Reporter Mark Niu caught up with former U.S. team member Judy Hoarfrost to discuss her memories of the famous trip.

Today, Judy and her son Ryan run Paddle Palace, a ping pong equipment distribution company and also a ping pong club. She says she’s blessed to continue to be so involved with a game that has not only changed her life, but also the course of history.
