It will be the first time the football tournament’s been held in the Middle East and in the Arab World. Organizers have been marking the milestone in Doha, Qatar.

The countdown to the 2022 World Cup is on.   

A glitzy event marked the one-year-to-go milestone which included a dazzling light show before a countdown clock was unveiled.
