Despite the language barrier, Brazil is a viable destination for Venezuelans fleeing from the political and economic crises in their homeland.
The Brazilian government grants them a simplified refugee process, the possibility of transitional shelter, language and job training and relocation to different parts of the country.
But many refugees still fear for their future in Latin America’s largest economy, in part, because of fake news, which a new community radio project is fighting.
