The U.S. Supreme Court is currently debating an abortion law in the state of Mississippi that bans abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy. Their ruling could have widespread impacts on abortion rights in the U.S. 

Supreme Court precedence was set in the 1973 case of Roe v. Wade that legalized abortion in the U.S. before viability, which is around 24 weeks.
