People gathered to take shelter at a local mosque in the village of Sumber Wuluh in Indonesia on Saturday after the eruption of the Semeru volcano. 

One person has died and dozens were injured, according to officials. Witnesses report villages covered in ash and debris and thick smoke blocking out the sun.
