Lines of voters snaked around voting stations as polls opened Saturday in The Gambia.
Voters were each given a marble to cast their vote in the presidential election, the first in 27 years not to include exiled former leader Yahya Jammeh.
The Gambia’s President Adama Barrow, who faces a record five other candidates, spoke to the media after casting his vote.
