The coffin carrying the remains of Sri Lankan national Priyantha Kumara, who was beaten to death and burnt by a mob in Pakistan last Friday, arrived in Colombo by plane on Monday.
Activists gathered outside Pakistan’s High Commission in Colombo to protest the lynching of the Sri Lankan factory manager.
Kumara was beaten to death and set ablaze by a mob who accused him of blasphemy. Protesters in Karachi also lit candles and laid flowers on Monday to express their condolences to the people of Sri Lanka.
