Undocumented Brazilians fight for recognition

More than 70 years ago, the United Nations General Assembly adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which has been translated into more than 350 languages. 

Article 6 states that "Everyone has the right to recognition everywhere as a person before the law." The declaration has come into focus over the years, especially as many countries grapple with involuntary disappearances. 

In Brazil, there are millions of people who are in a way... missing... because they lack a birth certificate or any form of identification.
