The daughter of imprisoned Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny, Daria Navalnaya, received the Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought Award on her father’s behalf at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France on Wednesday. 

Navalnaya held a photograph of her father while delivering a speech to members of the European Parliament.
