Scientists explore aftermath of Spain's Cumbre Vieja volcano

The rivers of lava that flowed near the Tacande neighborhood, on the Canary Island of La Palma, Spain have mostly cooled and now geologists are studying the volcanic formations and deposits.

The Cumbre Vieja volcano had been erupting for about three months, but this week saw two days of inactivity which gave scientists a chance to begin studying the area.
