Meet Eumillipedes Persephone, the new species of millipede with the most legs of any creature to ever live on Earth.
With 1,306 legs, the eyeless invertebrate found living 200 feet underground in Australia overtakes the former leg world-record holder, Illacme Plenipes, a millipede species from the U.S. state of California with 750 legs.
