One of the most promising U.S. Winter Olympic hopefuls is Erin Jackson. 

Once a top-flight inline skater, Jackson now sits atop the World Cup standings in Women’s 500 meters speed skating.

She hopes to parlay this season’s success into a spot on the podium in Beijing.
