California is bracing for another dramatic surge in coronavirus cases, as the highly contagious Omicron variant continues to spread across communities.
It comes as millions of residents are traveling and gathering with their families during the holiday week.
Despite an increased demand for booster shots and rapid self-testing kits, public health officials warn that California hospitals could be hit hard by a surge in patients in the coming weeks.
