Two dams gave way in the Brazilian state of Bahia.
Heavy rains caused already swollen rivers to overflow. The Igua dam collapsed on Christmas night. Many residents were evacuated in the town of Itambe.
A second dam gave way on Sunday.
There were no reports of injuries or deaths.
