Around the world Orthodox Christians and Catholics are celebrated Three Kings Day and Epiphany day ceremonies on Thursday.
In some cultures it is known as the twelfth night, the last day of Christmas, ahead of the visit of the three wise men to baby Jesus. It is a day of reflection and hope, but the holiday holds distinct traditions in each country.
Eastern Orthodox Christians on the Julian calendar celebrate Christmas on January 7, and Epiphany on the 19th of the month.
