Broadway tightens COVID measures amid Omicron surge

Just months after Broadway reopened, at least 13 shows have closed for good or been forced to go on hiatus because of a spike in COVID-19 cases. 

Illness among cast members and falling audience numbers have left some of New York's theaters losing money.

Nearly two years after the start of the pandemic lockdown, those involved in the city's arts industry are increasingly concerned about their future.
