Chinese Ambassador to the U.S. Qin Gang accepted recognition from Massport and US-China Partnership Committee Friday. Officials from Boston Port Authority and the International Longshoremen’s Association presented the Plaque of Recognition and a commemorative jacket.

As 2022 marks the 20 years of China-U.S. cooperation in the Port of Boston, 9,000 jobs were saved and 400,000 jobs were created. The recognition is to express appreciation to Chinese companies’ long-term contributions to Boston.
