Hong Kong is currently culling small animals after hamsters in a pet store tested positive for COVID-19. About 2,000 hamsters, rabbits, chinchillas and guinea pigs have been killed as a precautionary measure, much to the anger of animal rights activists. Many are preventing people from turning in their pets outside a government-run collection facility. Take a look at some other animal species that have tested positive for COVID-19.
