The painting, “Chinese People’s Liberation Army Training,” was created by Chinese artist Han Min in 1964.
The painting depicts various training scenes and reflects the spirit of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) and the soldiers who trained hard and dared to win.
After the founding of the People's Republic of China in 1949, the PLA entered a period of modernization with an emphasis on military training.
In 1961, Guo Xingfu, a PLA trainer, developed a fighting method called “Guo Xingfu's teaching method.”
The biggest feature of Guo Xingfu's teaching method is that it focused on lessons learned from actual combat and taught different soldiers according to their abilities.
The teaching method was promoted nationwide in 1964.
It helped the PLA military train and improved the PLA's combat capability.
The PLA today has not only been standing guard for the well-being of the Chinese people but also contributing to regional and global security.
August 1, 2022 marks the 95th anniversary of the founding of the PLA of China. It has been integral to the development of the Communist Party of China (CPC.)
China aims to complete the modernization of its national defense and armed forces by 2035 and fully transform the PLA into a world-class military by the mid-21st century.
