A future of commuters taking to the skies is complicated by scheduled airlines and drones, some say, but the future of flying cars as a form of transport is one many are dreaming of.  

The new AirCar is stretching its wings above Bratislava in Slovakia.  The AirCar has fully retractable wings and a 160 horsepower BMW engine. The engine has a fixed propeller and a ballistic parachute.  

Klein Vision, the company behind the AirCar says it has been given a Slovak airworthiness certificate from the Transport Authority.
