Many are marking the Lunar New Year with a visit to the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C. 

That’s where about a hundred lanterns handmade by Chinese artisans are on display. It’s an opportunity to come together with family and friends and look ahead to the Year of the Tiger.
