The Chicago Auto Show is back after previous COVID-19 disruptions and is showcasing electric vehicles this year.

"There's definitely a lot more EVs ready to go to market," said David Sloan, general manager of the Chicago Auto Show, reports the Chicago Tribune.

This year's show will feature about 30 brands, six indoor test tracks and three outdoor test drives.

Electric vehicle sales rose in 2021, making up 2.6% of the U.S. auto Market, according to Edmunds. As new models come out and production increases, Edmunds predicts EV market share will reach 4% in 2022.
