Big public celebrations for the Lunar New Year have returned in New York after many were cancelled last year during the coronavirus pandemic.
The festivities saw crowds fill the streets of Manhattan's famous Chinatown.
But with more and more Asian American families moving out to residential boroughs, this weekend also saw parades held in some of the city's most diverse neighborhoods.
