This year has been declared the "Year of Friendly Cooperation" between China and Argentina as the two countries celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations.

The anniversary comes as the two nations are expanding economic ties, formalized during the recent presidential meeting between Alberto Fernandez and Xi Jinping in China.
