Peruvian archaeologists have discovered the remains of six children among fourteen pre-Incan mummies in what they believe could be the oldest mass sacrifice of children to be unearthed in Peru.
Archaeologists believe the children and adults were sacrificed to honor a prominent figure among the local elite.
