Thousands of people in Ukraine commemorated the "Heavenly Hundred” on Sunday, a day to honor the people killed in Ukrainian pro-European Union mass protests in 2014, known as the Maidan uprising.
The protests also resulted in the toppling of then-President Viktor Yanukovich’s regime.
