In his remarks to the China General Chamber of Commerce U.S.A Annual Gala, Chinese Ambassador Qin Gang said China-U.S. trade relations registered rapid development in 2021. Trade grew by nearly 30%, reaching a record high of 755.6 billion dollars. "Our two countries have highly complementary economic structures and deeply intertwined interests. We have broad common interests and great potential for cooperation, especially in trade," he said.

Ambassador Qin also thanked everyone involved with China-U.S. economic and trade relations and congratulated those who have helped Chinese companies expand in the U.S. market.

"According to surveys last year, Chinese enterprises will continue to support the operation of their subsidiaries in the US, and 95% of the surveyed American companies are profitable in China," he noted.

In closing Ambassador Qin says he looks forward to the future of a healthy and stable China-U.S. partnership.
