China on Thursday called for all tariffs on its exports to the U.S. to be withdrawn.
That’s after Washington reinstated exceptions on duties on hundreds of Chinese-made products.
But if it provides some relief for businesses and consumers facing surging inflation, the trade relationship between both sides remains difficult.
