Amazon workers at a warehouse in New York are voting on whether to form a union.

A similar ballot recently concluded at an Amazon site in Alabama.

They are amongst a growing number of workplaces aiming to unionize across the U.S. Labor experts say the trend is being driven by essential workers facing tougher working conditions triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic.
