A new and controversial abortion law is set to take effect this summer in Florida, prohibiting the procedure after fifteen weeks of pregnancy. ​

​The only exceptions will be granted to women whose lives are in danger or when a fetus has fatal abnormalities. 

The law will have consequences far beyond the state's border​s.
