China’s Ambassador to the U.S. Qin Gang addressed a large audience of farmers, business people, and high level officials on Thursday at the U.S.- China Agricultural Forum in Des Moines, Iowa.

Despite political tensions between the two countries, last year China purchased a record amount of U.S. goods which in turn has helped boost U.S. farmers. 

Those in attendance celebrated a shared willingness to see relations between the two countries return to a positive and productive track.
