Transition to clean energy could save U.S. lives

An estimated 110,000 lives could be saved in the U.S. by 2050 if the country migrates fully to cleaner cars and power stations. 

And according to a study from the American Lung Association, there would also be roughly three million fewer asthma attacks. 

In New York, pollution is believed to cause more than 3,000 deaths a year and overwhelmingly impacts lower income communities.
