“Home, sweet home.”

A special show was put on by young performers from Minnesota’s Huaxing Art Troupe for Chinese Ambassador to the U.S. Qin Gang and his party on Sunday morning in St. Paul.

Qin said his heart was touched by the lyrics sung, which celebrated one’s Chinese roots, remembering one’s origin, and looking forward to a better day to come.

The Ambassador and his wife, Lin Yan, were honored by their hosts at the Minnesota Overseas Chinese Service Center and received a detailed tour of the services offered at the cultural center.

Ambassador Qin said he hopes that the overseas Chinese community can live in American society better and more safely in the positions they deserve.  Ambassador Qin and his team are winding down their three-state tour of the American Midwest this week in Minnesota.
