Researchers at the University of São Paulo are developing a new treatment to fight cancers related to the human papillomavirus, or HPV. 

Men can also be affected, but this is a disease that hits women in a larger proportion, sometimes causing cervical cancer. 

CGTN’s Paulo Cabral brought this story about a potential medication and strategies that could prevent people from developing HPV altogether.
