Brush fire destroys mansions in Southern California

An affluent neighborhood of Southern California was devastated after a brush fire, spurred by winds and drought conditions, raged out of control on Wednesday.

More than 20 large homes in an affluent area of Orange County, California caught fire Wednesday.

Some communities were evacuated as winds reached up to 30 miles per hour.

Dry conditions brought on by Southern California’s severe drought helped the brush fire spread.
