Hundreds of U.S. middle school students from the Potomac School in Virginia attended the online lecture of Chinese traditional puppet art exhibition, which was co-organized by the China’s Embassy, in China’s ancient city of Zhangzhou.

American students watched the live puppet performance and learned how to make traditional bag puppets with Chinese students. Chinese bag puppet artists believe that understanding traditional art could promote cultural understanding between China and the U.S.
