Recent mass shootings in the United States have intensified debates over the need for tougher gun control measures. In 2019, New York state passed a red flag law designed to ensure that those deemed a threat to themselves or others can’t acquire a firearm.
But a deadly shooting in Buffalo this month raised questions over whether this law is being properly implemented. William Denselow reports from New York.
