U.S. decision to exclude some nations from Americas Summit draws ire

At least 10 Latin American nations – those belonging to the ALBA Bloc of left-leaning nations -- reject the U.S. decision to exclude Cuba, Nicaragua and Venezuela at this year’s Summit of the Americas in Los Angeles.

Those countries say the Biden administration is acting in a discriminatory manner that is “unilateral, arbitrary, and politically motivated.”
