Microscopic air pollution affects health and livelihoods worldwide

A recent study shows more than 50,000 premature deaths could be saved in the U.S. if one year of microscopic air pollution - mainly from fossil fuel emissions - was eliminated.

The World Health Organization says millions of people globally are affected by air pollution.

Campaigns to raise awareness of the people most affected are underway.
