A virtual class and art performance of traditional Chinese puppetry by master puppeteer Chen Lihui and his team took place on Friday.

It was organized by the World Artists Experiences and coordinated by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the U.S.

The event presented a host of Chinese intangible cultural heritage to young students and the community in the U.S.

Puppet master Chen also had an interactive Q&A with students and the community.

He said that art has no borders and that he hopes that puppets can open the window to the American people to learn about traditional Chinese culture and China.
