USA swim coach Andrea Fuentes dove in to save one of her swimmers after she fainted at the end of a solo routine.

Anita Alvarez, an artistic swimmer, had fainted and sunk to the bottom of the pool at the world championships in Budapest.

Fuentes quickly dove in to pull Alvarez out.

Fuentes says she jumped in because no one else did and Alvarez had already gone about two minutes without breathing and water filling her lungs, the New York Time reports.

She promptly received medical care once out of the pool and "everything is normal," according to an updated post by Fuentes on the U.S.A. Artistic Swimming Instagram account.
